Returning to the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm was like coming home to the heart of the Vermont countryside. the rustic charm of the inn, coupled with the attentive staff, always makes for a memorable stay. the breathtaking views of the Ottauquechee River and Dewey's Pond served as a picturesque backdrop during our visit, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the hardy breakfast offered each morning was the perfect start to our day, prepared with the finest cuisine made from fresh Vermont products. the inn's rich history is evident in every corner, with each unique room telling its own story. Our room was not just a place to rest, but a comfortable sanctuary with lovely views out toward Dewey's Mill Pond. It was a delight to explore the nearby town of Woodstock, with its boutique shopping and local cafes, only a short drive away. Our evenings were spent enjoying a three-course meal and a glass of wine, indulging in the flavors of New England. the common area where the full-service bar is located provided a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring. the inn's proximity to attractions such as Quechee Gorge and Simon Pearce Glass allowed us to experience the best of Vermont's offerings. I highly recommend this charming inn for a rejuvenating getaway in the Green Mountains.
